With his\u00a0Don\u2019t\u00a0Mind If I Do (Deluxe)<\/em>\u00a0album just released last year,\u00a0it seems we\u00a0won’t\u00a0have to wait long for his next project.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Riley Green: ‘I Never Really Stopped Writing’\u00a0\u00a0<\/h2>\n

In a recent interview with\u00a0<\/em>Holler<\/a>, Green, who has been consistently posting snippets of unreleased songs like \u201cDamn, I Miss That Dog,\u201d and \u201cGot That From You\u201d on his Instagram, revealed that he\u2019s excited every time he writes a song and wants to share it with his fans. \u201cOften, I put the whole song out there,\u201d he said. \u201cSometimes it may just be a little clip, but for me, it’s just [making the most of it] while people are listening – and my audience has never been bigger than it is right now.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Green added, \u201cI never really stopped writing. For me,\u00a0it’s\u00a0not like you have an album like\u00a0Don’t Mind If I Do<\/em>\u00a0that does well, and you go, \u2018Okay, I can relax\u2019.\u00a0It’s\u00a0more the\u00a0opposite<\/em>. Things are going\u00a0really well, and I want to go write more songs.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Alabama-born singer-songwriter also shared the good news: \u201cI’ve\u00a0got\u00a0probably 17\u00a0to 20 songs right now that\u00a0I’m\u00a0ready to put on another record.\u00a0It’s\u00a0a\u00a0really cool\u00a0time to have so many eyes and ears on you\u201d.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Green, who had a successful 2025, winning major country music awards and his track \u201cWorst Way\u201d<\/a> reaching No. 1 on the Country Airplay chart (his first as a solo artist), admitted he\u00a0doesn\u2019t\u00a0feel pressured to chase the same level of success this year. \u201cIt’s\u00a0certainly not\u00a0pressure.\u00a0It’s\u00a0more just motivation to try something a little different, you know? As a songwriter,\u00a0I’ve\u00a0certainly got my lane, and\u00a0it’s\u00a0a pretty obvious\u00a0there’s\u00a0a theme that I like to write from.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
