Twenty twenty-six is here, and with it comes the best way to start the new year in central Pennsylvania: the Pennsylvania Farm Show.<\/p>\n
The annual event brings in farmers and their wares (including animals) from across the state. Visitors will flock in to the Farm Show Complex from Jan. 10-17 to enjoy the agricultural-themed festivities and events.<\/p>\n
Which brings us to an important question: where is everyone going to park? <\/p>\n
The Pennsylvania Farm Show can accommodate over 8,500 vehicles between on-site and off-site parking spaces. But the more you know about your options in advance, the smoother your Farm Show experience will be. <\/p>\n
Let\u2019s start with the basics:<\/p>\n
The Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex is at 2300 N. Cameron Street, right off of I-81 and across the street from the state\u2019s Department of Agriculture building.<\/p>\n
Updates for traffic and travel times can be found online at 511pa.com<\/a>. The website has a dedicated Farm Show page for details on the show itself, though the 2026 Farm Show page has yet to be posted. <\/p>\n As you approach the Farm Show Complex, you\u2019ll also see road signs giving directions and info on which parking lots are still open. The closest ones tend to fill up fast during peak visiting hours.<\/p>\n A map of all available parking lots can be found on the Department of Agriculture\u2019s website here.<\/a> <\/p>\n There are multiple parking lots at the Farm Show Complex \u2013 the North, the Northwest, the West, the Equine and the Maclay lots, with a total of nearly 3,000 parking spaces.<\/p>\n And even when those on-site lots are full, there are other options for visitors.<\/p>\n Additional parking spaces can be found nearby on Elmerton Avenue, near the intersection with Sycamore Street, with shuttle service to the Farm Show building.<\/p>\n Depending on the day, additional parking might also be opened at the nearby HACC campus, or at the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture building and nearby Pennsylvania Veterinary Laboratory. <\/p>\n Parking at Department of Agriculture and Vet Lab building will only be open on weekends, and guests who park there can use a walkway that goes underneath Cameron Street to get to the complex.<\/p>\n Parking fees for any of the Farm Show lots, both on-site and off-site, are $15 per vehicle.<\/p>\n All major credit cards are accepted, but parking cannot be paid for in cash.
