The holidays aren\u2019t meant for holding anything back, fashion-wise<\/a> at least, and Sabrina Carpenter<\/a> certainly took a glitzy approach with her recent string of outfits.<\/p>\n In a new Instagram post<\/a>, the \u201cManchild\u201d singer documented her end-of-the-year style, which was defined by sparkles, sheer fabrics, and a little homage to a pop progenitor.<\/p>\n Carpenter began her carousel with what appeared to be her New Year\u2019s Eve ensemble, which called to mind many a look worn by Cher. As it turns out, the sparkling dress was actually courtesy of one of Cher\u2019s go-to designers: Bob Mackie<\/a>.<\/p>\n At first glance, the vintage piece looked like a matching set, however, there were thin, diamond-shaped strands that connected the high-neck top to the miniskirt. The material, was composed of a shiny gold fringe that resembled tinsel, and Carpenter accessorized with tiny golden earrings, while tying her hair up into a half updo, which she later took down.<\/p>\n As for the rest of the Grammy winner\u2019s outfits, they were mostly defined by statement outerwear, from an archival John Galliano puffer in pink to a No. 21 padded bomber<\/a> and a vintage Flavio Castellani fur coat in cream.<\/p>\n Carpenter did, however, add another bit of sparkle with a see-through Diamond Dust Lady Dress<\/a> from Mirror Palais, which retails for $1,495. The completely see-through slip was made of sheer tulle decorated with silver sequins in the shape of flowers.
