The Irish actress stars as English playwright William Shakespeare\u2019s wife in the movie alongside Paul Mescal who plas the poet.<\/p>\n

The couple navigates through grief of losing their son Hamnet, who inspired Shakespeare to write Hamlet<\/i>.<\/p>\n

After winning the Best Actress award at the Critics Choise Awards on Sunday, Jessie was asked about motherhood and this movie and she said \u201cWell, I wasn’t a mother at the time that I filmed it. I deeply wanted to be a mother, but I have a mother and I know women and we’re pretty epic.\u201d<\/p>\n

The actress continued \u201cWe’ve got a lot. We contain multitudes. We’ve got a lot inside of us.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jessie had a daughter with her husband Freddie last year who is six months now.<\/p>\n
