A24<\/a> has released the official trailer for Michael Sarnoski<\/a>\u2019s \u201cThe Death of Robin Hood<\/a>,\u201d starring Hugh Jackman<\/a> as the titular outlaw.<\/p>\n

According to the official logline, this darker reimagining of the Robin Hood legend will find the character \u201cgrappling with his past after a life of crime and murder.\u201d Unlike most previous iterations of the legendary outlaw, Jackman\u2019s Robin Hood is \u201ca battleworn loner [who] finds himself gravely injured and in the hands of a mysterious woman, who offers him a chance at salvation.\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition to Jackman, the A24 thriller stars Jodie Comer<\/a>, Bill Skarsgard<\/a>, Noah Jupe<\/a> and Murray Bartlett<\/a>. The film is written and directed by Sarnoski, who previously helmed the critically acclaimed \u201cPig<\/a>\u201d (2021) and \u201cA Quiet Place: Day One<\/a>\u201d (2024). Production on \u201cThe Death of Robin Hood<\/a>\u201d took place in Northern Ireland.<\/p>\n

Aaron Ryder<\/a> and Andrew Swett<\/a> serve as producers under their Ryder Picture Company<\/a> banner alongside Alexander Black<\/a> for Lyrical Media<\/a>.<\/p>\n
