Baby Boomers can\u2019t get enough of William with 79%<br \/>\nhaving a favourable opinion of him.<\/p>\n<p>Overall, it\u2019s Kate leading the royal way in the newest check on<br \/>\npopularity. The <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/yougov.co.uk\/ratings\/politics\/popularity\/public-figures\/all\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">findings from YouGov<\/a> found that<br \/>\n68% of all adults had a positive impression of The Princess of<br \/>\nWales. Prince William was second on 62% while third place went to<br \/>\nPrincess Anne on 59%.<\/p>\n<p>Millennials had Kate in number one place with 65% holding a<br \/>\nfavourable opinion of her, followed by William on 60%. King Charles<br \/>\nIII was third with this group with a positive rating of 58%.<\/p>\n<p>When Gen X were asked, it was again a vote of confidence for the<br \/>\nPrincess of Wales who was number one on this royal list with 67%<br \/>\npositive rating, followed by the Princess Royal on 64% and the<br \/>\nPrince of Wales on 62%.<\/p>\n<p>Baby Boomers broke the mould, giving the biggest seal of<br \/>\napproval to the Prince of Wales. William had a favourability rating<br \/>\nof 79% with those born between 1946 and 1964. Princess Anne was in<br \/>\nsecond place on 78% while third in this list went to the Duchess of<br \/>\nEdinburgh on 76%.<\/p>\n<p>King Charles was fourth on the overall list with 54% and sixth<br \/>\nwith Baby Boomers where 70% had an overall positive impression of<br \/>\nhim. With Gen X, he was fifth with a popularity rating of 48%.<\/p>\n<p>Gen X were the hardest to please when it came to royalty, with<br \/>\nlower approval ratings across the board for all members of the<br \/>\nHouse of Windsor.<\/p>\n<p>The results were part of YouGov Ratings which measures the<br \/>\npopularity of \u201danything and everything\u201d and uses millions of<br \/>\nresponses to produce its rankings. The survey gathers opinions<br \/>\nevery day and collates them once a quarter. The latest results are<br \/>\nfor the third quarter of 2025, from July to September.<\/p>\n<p>The same system is also gathering information on the most<br \/>\npopular public figures in general and there\u2019s a royal on top of<br \/>\nthat list, too. The latest collated figures show that Queen<br \/>\nElizabeth II is the most popular public figure in the UK, with 75%<br \/>\nviewing her favourably. The Princess of Wales is second, on 68%,<br \/>\nwhile Barack Obama is third on 66%.
