findings from YouGov<\/a> found that
\n68% of all adults had a positive impression of The Princess of
\nWales. Prince William was second on 62% while third place went to
\nPrincess Anne on 59%.<\/p>\nMillennials had Kate in number one place with 65% holding a
\nfavourable opinion of her, followed by William on 60%. King Charles
\nIII was third with this group with a positive rating of 58%.<\/p>\n
When Gen X were asked, it was again a vote of confidence for the
\nPrincess of Wales who was number one on this royal list with 67%
\npositive rating, followed by the Princess Royal on 64% and the
\nPrince of Wales on 62%.<\/p>\n
Baby Boomers broke the mould, giving the biggest seal of
\napproval to the Prince of Wales. William had a favourability rating
\nof 79% with those born between 1946 and 1964. Princess Anne was in
\nsecond place on 78% while third in this list went to the Duchess of
\nEdinburgh on 76%.<\/p>\n
King Charles was fourth on the overall list with 54% and sixth
\nwith Baby Boomers where 70% had an overall positive impression of
\nhim. With Gen X, he was fifth with a popularity rating of 48%.<\/p>\n
Gen X were the hardest to please when it came to royalty, with
\nlower approval ratings across the board for all members of the
\nHouse of Windsor.<\/p>\n
The results were part of YouGov Ratings which measures the
\npopularity of \u201danything and everything\u201d and uses millions of
\nresponses to produce its rankings. The survey gathers opinions
\nevery day and collates them once a quarter. The latest results are
\nfor the third quarter of 2025, from July to September.<\/p>\n
The same system is also gathering information on the most
\npopular public figures in general and there\u2019s a royal on top of
\nthat list, too. The latest collated figures show that Queen
\nElizabeth II is the most popular public figure in the UK, with 75%
\nviewing her favourably. The Princess of Wales is second, on 68%,
\nwhile Barack Obama is third on 66%. Prince William is fifth, just
\nbehind Vlodomyr Zelenskyy while King Charles is eighth, following
\nMichelle Obama and Princess Anne.<\/p>\n
