\t\t\t\t\tPrincess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice aren’t working royals, but King Charles III <\/strong>continues to include them in public events.<\/p>\n

“It’s been a devastating year for them. A devastating year for the girls I would have thought,” royal correspondent Simon Vigar<\/strong> told The Sun<\/a><\/em>, as Charles stripped Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor<\/strong> of his titles.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\t\t\t\t\t“They’re sort of half in, half out, actually, the thing that Harry wanted,” Simon Vigar continued. “Beatrice and Eugenie aren’t full-time working royals, so they don’t quite have the public exposure that the others do.”<\/p><\/div>\n

\t\t\t\t\tWhen Prince Harry<\/a> and Meghan Markle<\/strong> left the royal fold, the duo hoped to cultivate a part-time role in the royal family. However, the Sussexes’ plans were quickly shut down. <\/p>\n

“We never left the family, and we only wanted to have the same type of role that exists, right? There’s senior members of the family, and then there are non-senior members,” Meghan clarified in the couple’s explosive Oprah Winfrey <\/strong>interview.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\t\t\t\t\tPrince Harry<\/a> and Meghan Markle’s decision led to them being excluded from family gatherings, but Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice have been able to support the Crown without working for it.<\/p>\n

“It’s slimmed down all by itself, hasn’t it, but they’re going to need help in the public jobs they do,” Simon Vigar said.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\t\t\t\t\tPrince Harry<\/a> and Meghan Markle were noticeably absent during the family’s Christmas gathering, while Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie participated in the royal holiday walk at Sandringham.<\/div>\n
