Amy Grant<\/strong> is kicking off the New Year with a brand new single out today, the aptly titled \u201cThe 6th of January (Yasgur\u2019s Farm).\u201d<\/p>\n

The new track will be featured on Grant\u2019s first album of all-original material in over a decade, due out later this year via Thirty Tigers.\u00a0Produced by Nashville Songwriters Hall of Famer Mac McAnally<\/strong>, \u201cThe 6th of January (Yasgur\u2019s Farm)\u201d explores themes of healing, unity, and human and spiritual connection, pondering how we sit with the unrest of the world without rushing to conclusions about how to fix it. The song poses the universal question of have we all lost our way, drawing inspiration from the idealism of the Woodstock era and the lessons learned in the intervening years.<\/p>\n
