King Charles<\/strong><\/a> reportedly became so frustrated with Meghan Markle<\/strong><\/a> and Prince Harry<\/strong><\/a> when they consistently asked him for cash following their exit from the royal family in 2020.<\/a><\/p>\n Robert Jobson<\/strong> wrote in his new book, The Windsor Legacy,<\/em> how the Duke of Sussex, 41, \u201cswore at [Charles] and demanded funds” after the couple stepped back as senior members of the Windsor clan at the time.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m not a bank,\u201d Charles, 77, allegedly told his friend about his youngest son, according to the book.<\/p>\n The late Queen Elizabeth II<\/strong><\/a>was also weary of Meghan, 44, and Harry’s constant nagging for money that she grew \u201ctired of the drama.\u201d<\/p>\n The Sussexes had at first asked the monarch, who died in 2022<\/a>, incessantly for dough. However, she then pawned off the couple to Charles after she became annoyed at them.<\/p>\n The book alleged that the Queen welcomed the Suits<\/em> actress at first, seeing her \u201cdual heritage, beauty and communication skills\u201d as beneficial to The Firm.<\/p>\n \u201cShe made it clear to those close to her that privately she felt let down by the Sussexes\u2019 departure<\/a>,\u201d Jobson penned, “which she saw as short-sighted and a missed opportunity.\u201d<\/p>\n The Queen was also confused by the Spare<\/em> author’s odd behavior during a chat about his and Meghan’s exit. She described the negotiation plans as \u201cquite mad.\u201d<\/p>\n Harry and Meghan met in 2016 and married in 2018 at Windsor Castle<\/a>, before moving their family to Montecito, Calif., the same year.<\/p>\n When the couple was planning to marry, things between Harry and his father were already beginning to unravel.<\/p>\n \u201cBut by the time of the engagement announcement,\u201d Jobson wrote. “Charles’ enthusiasm seemed to have waned.
