Elle Fanning took a trip down memory lane, recalling an embarrassing encounter she faced at Cannes Film Festival.<\/p>\n

In a recent interview with W Magazine<\/i>, published on Tuesday, January 6, the 27-year-old actress revisited the “hilarious” time she blacked out during the 2019 festival, where she attended as a main juror.<\/p>\n

Explaining the reason, Fanning shared, “Yes, my dress was too tight.”<\/p>\n

“My sister was sitting at another table, and she saw my chair just completely fall back. It\u2019s kind of hilarious \u2014 very dramatic,” she added.<\/p>\n

The All the Bright Places<\/i> actress acknowledged that the incident quickly drew the attention of attendees at the event.<\/p>\n

“Colin Firth was there, and he rushed to my side. It was the talk of the festival,” she recalled.<\/p>\n

Shortly after the mishap, Fanning took to her Instagram handle at the time to update her fans.<\/p>\n

She penned, “Oops, had a fainting spell tonight in my 1950\u2019s Prada prom dress but it\u2019s all good.”<\/p>\n

The Sentimental Value<\/i> actress added that the dress she wore was too tight and that it was also \u201c#timeofthemonth.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, she told the magazine that she used to experience fainting frequently during her childhood.<\/p>\n

“In school, I would faint a lot,” she remembered. “I grew, like, seven inches in one year, and I guess my body was growing so much that I got altitude sickness.”<\/p>\n
