Salman Khan may return to comedy films after years<\/p><\/div>\n

Salman Khan is expected to head back to comedy after years, as reports suggest his early talks for an action-comedy with filmmaker duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK.<\/p>\n

Nothing has been signed yet, and the project is still at a discussion stage. But the possibility of the 60-year-old teaming up with Raj and DK has already created chatter in the industry. <\/p>\n

The duo is known for mixing humour with action, and this film is said to aim for the same space, while showing Salman in a slightly different light.<\/p>\n

According to Pinkvilla<\/i>, the Dabangg<\/i> star has heard the idea but has not committed yet.\u00a0<\/p>\n

A source was quoted as saying, \u201cSalman Khan has heard the basic idea and has shown interest in it. It\u2019s an action-comedy, but it will also present Khan in a slightly different space. However, he is yet to give his final nod to the project.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

The source added, \u201cIf everything falls into place and Salman comes on board, the makers are looking to take the film on floors by the end of 2026. At the moment, it\u2019s all about aligning creatively and locking the script.\u201d<\/p>\n

If the film goes ahead, it will be the Tiger<\/i> actor\u2019s first-ever collaboration with Raj and DK.\u00a0<\/p>\n

However, for now, there is no official announcement, as both sides are still working on the script and creative direction.<\/p>\n

On the work front, Salman is busy with Battle of Galwan<\/i>, based on the real-life clash between Indian and Chinese troops in June 2020. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the film is set for an April release.<\/p>\n
