Vince Gill<\/strong>\u00a0has released the third EP from his year-long project on MCA, 50 Years From Home, <\/em>with Brown\u2019s Diner Bar.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

The title track of Brown\u2019s Diner Bar <\/em>was penned by Gill and takes him all the way back\u201450 years to when he first visited the famed Nashville burger joint he\u2019s immortalizing in the song.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a singer-songwriter kind of folk song about\u2026this little hamburger joint,\u201d says Gill, who also provides an electric guitar solo on the track. \u201cIt\u2019s been in Nashville for 100 years now, and I\u2019ve been going for 50. When I made my first trip to Nashville in the mid-70s I remember going to Brown\u2019s for a cheeseburger; they\u2019re famous for being really<\/em> good cheeseburgers. It\u2019s a funky little joint, close to Music Row, so tons of singers and songwriters and musicians turn up there. It\u2019s just a great vibe.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brown\u2019s Diner Bar<\/em>\u00a0features some special guests and co-writers, including\u00a0Ernest, Jake Worthington, Leslie Satcher, Wade Bowen<\/strong>\u00a0and Waylon Payne.<\/strong> It follows the previous two releases from the ambitious career-spanning endeavor from Gill, which include\u00a0I Gave You Everything I Had,\u00a0<\/em>and Secondhand Smoke.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n
