\u201cSince we\u2019re speaking French, I want you to help me go to the tease in French,\u201d Melvin said. \u201cCan we say something like \u2018This is Today on NBC in French?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

As Foster began to teach him how to say the request.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

But just as Foster was wrapping up, she accidentally said \u201cCBS\u201d instead of \u201cNBC.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cNo \u2015 not CBS! NBC! Jodie!\u201d Melvin shouted jokingly, as Foster burst into a fit of giggles. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s the same letters!\u201d Foster said (it\u2019s not), but Melvin wasn\u2019t having it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a stupid network, Jodie!\u201d Melvin quipped, before declaring that the interview \u201cwas going so well\u201d prior to the slip-up. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

While Foster tried to insist that they could cut the flub from the segment, Melvin reminded her, \u201cIt\u2019s live!\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
