On top of all that \u2014 and in addition to its other events throughout the year \u2014 Eichardt\u2019s is adding something new: a tradition starting Saturday, Jan. 10 called the Publican Pick.<\/p>\n<p>Every second Saturday starting this month, Eichardt\u2019s Publican Jeff Nizzoli will curate the live music for the night.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI wanted to reengage, as publican [with booking],\u201d Nizzoli told the <em>Reader<\/em>, extending \u201ca personal invitation to talented local and regional artists.\u201d In addition Nizzoli is reaching out to band members of groups who have played Eichardt\u2019s in the past, \u201cseeing if their new music styles would like to grace our small stage once again.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/sandpointreader.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/HaroldsIGA-Eichardts-WEB.jpg\"><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>Harolds\u2019s IGA playing at Eichardt\u2019s Pub. Photo by Jared Johnston<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The inaugural Publican Pick will be Harold\u2019s IGA, one of the musical projects of <em>Reader<\/em> Publisher Ben Olson, Cadie Archer and Josh Vitalie.<\/p>\n<p>Harold\u2019s is \u201ca band that feels woven into the fabric of this town,\u201d Eichardt\u2019s wrote on its Instagram page. \u201cFamiliar, joyful and always a full-room kind of energy, Harold\u2019s IGA is the kind of band that turns a night at the Pub into a shared memory.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Music starts at 7 p.m., and the next installment of the Publican Pick will be Saturday, Feb. 14, with the pick to be announced.
