Meghan Markle<\/a> was blasted by a royal commentator for her \u201cdelusional\u201d new attempt to publish a rumoured cookbook<\/a> and boost her plummeting popularity. The Duchess of Sussex is believed to be focusing on her lifestyle brand, As Ever<\/a>, this year, with plans for global expansion and additional launches to come.<\/p>\n

It comes as Prince Harry<\/a>\u2019s wife continues to see her popularity decline since her sensational exit from the Royal Family six years ago, consistently ranking low among other royals. Sources claimed that Meghan has been working on a cookbook<\/a>, which is expected to be released by spring and is reportedly scheduled to coincide with the expansion of her brand.<\/p>\n

Now, a royal commentator gave a brutal verdict on what this year holds for the Duchess.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Lee Cohen<\/a>, a US-based columnist\/royal and foreign policy commentator, told the Daily Express that if Meghan were to release a new cookbook, it would likely flop because it would lack one key ingredient.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cThen comes the rumoured cookbook! Cookbooks suggest trust, authority, a whisper of ‘this person knows their stuff\u2019. Markle brings none: just styling and sanctimony.<\/p>\n

\u201cHer Netflix<\/a> lifestyle series, With Love, Meghan, was a bust \u2014 critics calling it unrelatable and exhausting. She was trying for Martha Stewart, but without the charm, authenticity or skill.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cThe actress-turned-entrepreneur narrative once relied on novelty. That novelty is gone\u2014long gone.<\/p>\n

\u201cWithout royal proximity to monetise or fresh grievance to weaponise, Markle\u2019s ventures must stand on their own merits \u2014 of which there are painfully few.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Mr Cohen went on to say that 2026 will bring \u201cmore breathless\u201d announcements from the Duchess who will allegedly fail to make herself be \u201crelevant\u201d after \u201cexhausting\u201d the public.<\/p>\n

He explained: \u201cSo, 2026 in a nutshell? More launches. More breathless announcements. More delusional insistence that breakout success is one pivot away.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut zero breakthroughs. No relevance. Just diminishing returns and public exhaustion and alienation.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
