\u201cLate Night<\/a>\u201d host Seth Meyers<\/a> on Thursday called out the Donald Trump<\/a> administration for pushing claims that a federal immigration agent shooting and killing Renee Nicole Good was in response to \u201can act of domestic terrorism.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cA 37-year-old mother in a Honda Pilot was shot dead on a residential street and they\u2019re calling her a terrorist,\u201d said Meyers of the Minneapolis resident who reportedly<\/a> dropped off her 6-year-old son at school before encountering federal agents.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cThe same people who called those who stormed a federal building \u2018heroes,\u2019 the same people who supported pardoning those who beat Capitol Police officers while ignoring their orders to stop are telling us that a woman shot dead in her own car in her own community is a domestic terrorist.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n He continued, \u201cAnd when they do that, they\u2019re also telling us who they are and it it is our job to never forget what they\u2019ve told us.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The host\u2019s comments refer to Trump\u2019s efforts to paint those involved in the deadly Jan. 6, 2021 attack as \u201cpatriots\u201d and his blanket pardons of hundreds of rioters who stormed the U.S. Capitol that day.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The comedian noted the president \u201clied from the jump\u201d about his deportation agenda by claiming that \u201ccriminals,\u201d \u201cmurderers\u201d and \u201cdrug dealers\u201d would be the focus of such efforts.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Instead, the administration has blanked America with federal immigration agents who have disrupted neighborhoods, schools and businesses, Meyers noted.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n He argued that the administration knows that the deadly shooting in Minneapolis is \u201cindefensible, which is why they have to lie about it.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Check out more of Meyers\u2019 Thursday monologue on \u201cLate Night.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
