Mumford and Sons have shared a new single, The Banjo Song.<\/p>\n
Co-written with Aaron Dessner of The National and Jon Bellion, the melodic folk-rock track serves up heartfelt lyricism and marks the latest preview of the Grammy-winning London band’s sixth album,\u00a0‘Prizefighter’, due out through Island Records on February 20.<\/p>\n
It follows the previously unveiled singles\u00a0Rubber Band Man<\/a> featuring\u00a0Hozier\u00a0and the title track. The follow-up to last year’s ‘Rushmere’ also includes guest appearances from\u00a0Gracie Abrams, Chris Stapleton\u00a0and Gigi Perez.<\/p>\n
Mumford and\u00a0Sons will headline London\u2019s BST Hyde Park<\/a>\u00a0concert series on July 4, with support from\u00a0The War On Drugs\u00a0and more acts to be announced, as part of a run of European summer dates.<\/p>\n
Before that, they’ll top the bill at\u00a0Out Of The Blue Festival<\/a>\u00a0in\u00a0Cancun, Mexico, this weekend, and\u00a0Innnings Festival<\/a>\u00a0in Tempe, Arizona, in February, following a run of UK in-store dates earlier that month. They’ll then tour Australia and New Zealand in April and May. Tickets are on sale now.<\/p>\n
