Country music singer Alexis Wilkins took to social media to share some of her thoughts following the ICE shooting in Minnesota that left Renee Nicole Good dead, and it isn\u2019t going well for her.<\/p>\n
Wilkins, who is dating FBI Director Kash Patel, lists \u201cpolitical commentator\u201d on her X profile along with country music, and she has not been shy about giving her thoughts on a wide-range of topics.<\/p>\n
Her first post about the shooting came in response to Geraldo Rivera, who wrote that Good was unarmed. Wilkins reshared that post and wrote, \u201cGeraldo, she was armed with a CAR.\u201d<\/p>\n
She then shared screenshots of posts from Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz. The post on Frey highlighted his call for ICE to \u201cget the (expletive) out of Minneapolis.\u201d The post from Walz promised a \u201cfull, fair, and expeditious investigation to ensure accountability and justice.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cMinnesota\u2019s leadership encourages disobedience and violence against law enforcement \u2014 which breeds situations such as George Floyd and Renee Nicole Good,\u201d she wrote. \u201cThis is on your @MayorFrey @GovTimWalz.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd where\u2019s this call to violence?\u201d one person replied. <\/p>\n
\u201cAre you really this dumb?\u201d another wrote. \u201cGeorge Floyd was killed as everyone in the nation watched. This is what happens when ego-driven men are given power and inadequate training. Your BF is constantly making serious mistakes; he is not qualified for this job. I would keep my mouth shut.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cAlexis, you are disgusting and pathetic,\u201d another wrote. \u201cYour comments are unfounded. People like you & your ugly googled eyed boyfriend are what is wrong with this country led by the felon, fraud, liar, narcissist, psychopath, sexual assaulter Donald Trump.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cYou\u2019re a terrible person and a worse singer,\u201d another wrote.<\/p>\n
And those were some of the nicer comments. Several used slurs to attack Wilkins.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, there were some folks who supported her, too.<\/p>\n
\u201cAlexis is right she was armed with a car,\u201d one person replied. \u201cShe was trying to impede law enforcement. A vehicle is a deadly weapon. Mayor should be impeached for his outrageous comments before any investigation!\u201d<\/p>\n
You can see her post and all of the responses here.<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n The 27-year-old singer was last in the headlines back in November amid a report from MS Now that Patel has assigned a security detail to her. <\/p>\n The outlet reported<\/b><\/a> that Wilkins, who lives and works out of Nashville like a lot of country music artists, has a detail that consists of elite agents who are normally assigned to the SWAT team at the FBI\u2019s Nashville office.<\/p>\n \u201cMs. Wilkins is receiving a protective detail because she has faced hundreds of credible death threats related to her relationship with Director Patel, whom she has been dating for three years,\u201d an FBI spokesperson told The Hill<\/b><\/a>. \u201cOut of respect for her safety, we will not be providing additional details.\u201d<\/p>\n The outlet reported that it is \u201cunusual\u201d for the SWAT members to be used for security details, and that other spouses of directors who received details were living with the director. Patel and Wilkins do not live together and do not live in the same city, and the use of the elite agents created a stir on social media.<\/p>\n \u201cThere is no legitimate justification for this,\u201d former senior FBI agent Christopher O\u2019Leary told MS Now. \u201cShe is not his spouse, does not live in the same house or even the same city.<\/p>\n \u201cI would also add that this comes at a time when security details were stripped from people who are under threat from (Iran).\u201d<\/p>\n
