Kate Middleton<\/a> released a moving new video to mark her 44th birthday on Friday. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n The Princess of Wales speaks in a voiceover in the clip, which marks the latest \u2015 and last \u2015 video in her \u201cdeeply personal\u201d \u201cMother Nature\u201d series. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n In the footage, the camera pans over ice-covered landscapes and video of the royal taking in the winterscape. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cEven in the coldest, darkest season \u2015 winter has a way of bringing us stillness, patience, and quiet consideration,\u201d she says. \u201cWhere the stream slows just enough for us to see our own reflection. To discover the deepest parts of ourselves, alongside the whispers and the pulse of every living thing.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cI find myself reflecting on how deeply grateful I am,\u201d the Princess of Wales added. \u201cFor the rivers within us flow with ease. Fears washed away \u2015 cleanse and purify. Come to peace with our tears, and discover what it means to be alive.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cTo be at one with nature. A quiet teacher, and a soft voice that guides. In memory, helping us to heal,\u201d she says as the video concludes. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n In a caption accompanying the footage, the royal said that \u201cThe Mother Nature series has been a deeply personal, creative reflection on how nature has helped me heal. But it is also a story about the power of nature and creativity in collective healing.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cThere is so much we can learn from mother nature, as we look to build a happier, healthier world,\u201d the Princess of Wales said, signing off on the message with \u201cC,\u201d for her first name, Catherine. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n Kate announced publicly in March 2024 that she had been diagnosed with cancer<\/a>, though she has never revealed what kind.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
