Catholic influencer Paul Kim<\/strong>\u2019s wife, Maggie Kim<\/strong>, is paying tribute to their 5-year-old son, Micah, one week after his death<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s been one week since we had to leave the hospital. One week since it was decided that you would never step foot into our house again,\u201d Maggie wrote via Instagram<\/a> on Thursday, January 8. \u201cLeaving you alone in that room and walking away was the most gut-wrenching thing I\u2019ve ever had to do. Every motherly bone in my body ached at how wrong it felt.\u201d<\/p>\n Maggie continued, \u201cIt\u2019s also been one week of witnessing your little miracles. One week of seeing signs of you and feeling your little \u2018hellos.\u2019 I never expected how the pain and the consolation would go hand in hand. How each breath in my lungs would burn with the fact that we have to live on without you. And how each smile in my memory would give me visions of your smiles in Heaven.\u201d<\/p>\n Despite her family\u2019s grief over Micah\u2019s death from a severe case of the flu, Maggie wrote that they have also \u201cexperienced a lot of peace.\u201d<\/p>\n Along with the tribute, Maggie shared a photo of Micah\u2019s hand holding hers.<\/p>\n Paul shared the news of Micah\u2019s death on December 31.<\/p>\n \u201cAfter fighting 11 long hard days, [Micah] went home to the house of our father,\u201d he said in a video. \u201cWe are so proud of him. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart as his dad, on behalf of my family, for all the ways you guys prayed and lifted us up during this time.\u201d<\/p>\n
