Matt Damon<\/a> delivered a \u201cbeautiful\u201d piece<\/a> of parenting advice to fellow dad Jason Kelce during this week\u2019s episode of the \u201cNew Heights\u201d podcast<\/a>, leaving at least one listener in tears on the way to work.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The actor was promoting his upcoming film \u201cThe Rip\u201d and shared some behind-the-scenes info about filming next year\u2019s \u201cThe Odyssey<\/a>,\u201d but he seemed to leave the biggest impression on listeners by reflecting on the growth of his children while chatting with the former Philadelphia Eagle and his superstar brother and co-host, Travis Kelce<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Damon has three daughters<\/a> with his wife, Luciana Barroso<\/a>: Isabella, Gia and Stella. The \u201cGood Will Hunting\u201d star also helped raise his stepdaughter, Alexia, whom Barroso had from a prior relationship before marrying Damon in 2005.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Damon left a mark on \u201cNew Heights\u201d fans after saying he still sees \u201ctheir infant face\u201d when he looks at his children, and recalled getting some cherished advice from \u201can old friend\u201d when Gia was still a toddler: \u201cDon\u2019t blink. Don\u2019t blink.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cAnd that shit is real,\u201d Damon said<\/a>. \u201cMy daughter broke her collarbone, and this morning she was getting ready for school; she\u2019s 17. She asked me to brush her hair. So I brushed her hair, and man, it was a moment. I hadn\u2019t brushed her hair, I don\u2019t know, eight, nine years?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n He then directly addressed Jason Kelce, whose own four daughters with Kylie Kelce<\/a> are still quite young: Wyatt, 6; Elliotte, 4; Bennett, 2; and 9-month-old Finnley<\/a>. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cYou\u2019re at that stage now where it\u2019s like, you get them ready, they\u2019re lined up!\u201d Damon told the fellow dad. \u201cI don\u2019t remember when I brushed her hair for the last time. It just kind of happened, and life kind of kept going.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Damon said that the changes in aging were \u201cso incremental\u201d that he only realized how much time had passed when he \u201cran the hairbrush\u201d through Gia\u2019s hair.
