Bobby Cannavale<\/a>, two-time Emmy award-winning actor, won\u2019t be walking the red carpet with his longtime partner, actress Rose Byrne<\/a>, at 83rd Golden Globes on Sunday.<\/p>\n Instead, he\u2019ll be spending time with reptiles in his home state of New Jersey. Really.<\/p>\n Cannavale, who was born and raised in Union City, began dating Byrne in 2012. The couple share two sons \u2014 Rocco, 9 and Rafael, 8 \u2014 though they have yet to tie the knot, People.com reported<\/a>. <\/p>\n Byrne is up Sunday for Best Actress in a Comedy for her performance in \u201cIf I Had Legs I\u2019d Kick You.<\/p>\n But before heading to the West Coast for the cermony, Byrne spoke with \u201cThe Tonight Show<\/a>\u201d host Jimmy Fallon on Thursday and revealed why Cannavale won\u2019t be accompanying her to \u201cHollywood\u2019s Party of the Year.\u201d <\/p>\n \u201cYou know what, Bobby can\u2019t come, which is such a bummer,\u201d Byrne told Fallon during<\/a> the late-night show. \u201cHe\u2019s going to a reptile expo in New Jersey.\u201d<\/p>\n That appears to be Reptilecon, held this weekend at the Super Pet Expo at the New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center in Edison.<\/p>\n Byrne explained that she, Cannavale and their two sons want to adopt a bearded dragon<\/a>, a lizard native to Australia. <\/p>\n \u201cThis expo is the place where everyone goes, and it\u2019s the place to go, and it was on the same day,\u201d Byrne explained to a stunned Fallon. \u201cAnd it would just be such a parent fail so we\u2019re doing it.
