Romanowski also had nine rebounds, three steals and two assists. Gorski grabbed six rebounds and Bennett had five boards.<\/p>\n<p>Scranton lead after three quarters, 57-47, but Susquehanna closed to within 59-54 two minutes into the fourth. However, that\u2019s when the Lady Royals put together an game-clinching 14-1 run.<\/p>\n<p>Kranson started it with a pair of free throws and Romanowski had a steal-and-layup. After Susquehanna hit a foul shot, Bennett hit a 3-pointer, then put back a missed shot. After another steal-and-layup by Romanowski, Lamanna capped the outburst with a 3-point play that gave the Lady Royals a 73-55 advantage with four minutes to play.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Monroe CC 60, Lackawanna 42:<\/strong> At Scranton, Monroe Community College used a 26-3 run bridging the last three minutes of the third quarter and opening 5\u00bd minutes of the fourth to break a tie and pull away to a nonregion win over Lackawanna College at the Lackawanna College Student Union.<\/p>\n<p>Alania Ortiz led the Lady Falcons (4-10) with 16 points. Canyah Randle added seven points and 14 rebounds and Ali Johns totaled six points and 11 rebounds.<\/p>\n<p>Gloria Sylla paced Monroe (13-2) with 12 points and 17 rebounds.<\/p>\n<h4>Men\u2019s basketball<\/h4>\n<p>At Scranton, Monroe Community College held Lackawanna College scoreless for the final four-plus minutes to pull out a 65-60 nonregion victory Sunday afternoon at the Lackawanna College Student Union.<\/p>\n<p>David Popson hit a 3-pointer with 4:11 left to give Lackawanna a 60-58 lead. However, those would be the final points for the Falcons as they missed their last six shots.<\/p>\n<p>Nate Brazill had the final seven points for Monroe (18-3), which is ranked No. 9 in NJCAA Division II, and finished with 29 points for the Tribunes.<\/p>\n<p>Jaksa Pejovic led Lackawanna (8-7) with 20 points. Latrell Nash added 13 points and six assists, whule Noah Elias chipped in 11 points and six rebounds.
