Mark Ruffalo and other A-listers honored the memory of Renee Good and protested the US\u00a0Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency on the red carpet of the 83rd Golden Globes<\/a> on Sunday.<\/p>\n

The 58-year-old actor was joined by stars including Natasha Lyonne<\/a> and Wanda Sykes<\/a> as they wore pins reading ‘Be Good’ and ‘ICE Out’ as they arrived at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills.<\/p>\n

The pins were protesting ICE’s presence in major Democrat-run cities \u2014 including Los Angeles<\/a>, Minneapolis and Chicago<\/a> \u2014 and the deaths of Ren\u00e9e Macklin<\/a> Good and Keith Porter at the hands of ICE agents, according to Variety<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The ICE agent Jonathan Ross<\/a>\u00a0shot and killed Good, 37, while she was behind the wheel of her Honda Pilot during a protest over immigration raids in Minneapolis on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

ICE has since claimed that Good hit Ross with her car and tried to run him over before he fired three shots at her.<\/p>\n

However, subsequent video angles \u2014 including a leak of video Ross was filming with his cell phone at the same time he was pointing his gun at Good \u2014 seem to show her with her wheels turning away from the ICE agent as if she intended to flee.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Ruffalo and other stars were also remembering Keith Porter, who was shot and killed on New Year’s Eve by an off-duty ICE agent.<\/p>\n

According to Variety, the anti-ICE pins protest was set up by a group of ‘entertainment industry professionals,’ and groups including the ACLU, Working Families Power, National Domestic Workers Alliance, Move on and Maremoto are reportedly supporting the effort.<\/p>\n

The campaign is meant to ‘remind us what it means to be good to one another in the face of such horror \u2014 to be a good citizen, neighbor, friend, ally and human,’ the organizers said in a statement. ‘Everyday, everywhere, regular people are being good: keeping kids safe when they walk to school, filming fathers who are being disappeared from their workplaces, donating to fundraisers to support organizations who are keeping us safe.’<\/p>\n

The organizers also noted that the second Trump administration has spent $100 million to boost ICE recruitment after ICE agents killed more people in 2025 than they have in 20 years.<\/p>\n

‘For the past year, the Trump administration has been stretching federal power to punish and intimidate communities, often by turning immigrants into scapegoats and using the Department of Homeland Security as the tip of the spear,’ the organizers continued. ‘ICE is not making our communities safer. They are bringing chaos into our streets, and families, immigrants and US citizens alike, pay the price.’<\/p>\n

Ruffalo, who wore a white tuxedo jacket on the Golden Globes red carpet, sported a Be Good pin on his lapel as he posed with his wife,\u00a0Sunrise Coigney, who looked glamorous in a plunging black gown.<\/p>\n

Natasha Lyonne beamed ear-to-ear in a gray dress covered in sparkling sequins and floral designs.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘Hosting the Golden Globes this year was without a doubt the most fun I have ever had in my career,’ Glaser, 41, said in a March statement. ‘I can’t wait to do it again, and this time in front of the team from The White Lotus who will finally recognize my talent and cast me in season 4 as a Scandinavian Pilates instructor with a shadowy past.’\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

When it comes to the nominations, it is One Battle After Another who leads the pack with a whopping nine nominations.<\/p>\n

The Leonardo DiCaprio\u2013starring epic picked up nods in the film categories including Best Picture, Director and Screenwriter, a Best Actor nod for its lead and Supporting Actor recognitions for\u00a0Benicio del Toro and Sean Penn<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It will compete against Blue Moon, Bugonia, Marty Supreme, No Other Choice and Nouvelle Vague in the Best Picture – Musical Or Comedy category, with Wicked: For Good a shock snub.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The show also picked up a nod in the Best Limited TV Series, Anthology Series or Motion Picture Made for TV category,\u00a0alongside All Her Fault, The Beast in Me, Black Mirror<\/a>, Dying for Sex and The Girlfriend bringing its total to five nominations.<\/p>\n

The White Lotus<\/a> narrowly beat Adolescence with six nods though,\u00a0most of which came from the acting categories thanks to its all-star cast.<\/p>\n

The major ceremony in the awards season calendar\u00a0honors the best of film, TV and, for the first time this year, podcasts, across 28 categories.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This year, all 28 award categories have six nominees, with the exception of Cinematic and Box Office Achievement, which features eight.\u00a0<\/p>\n

One of the most contentious categories surely will be Best Male Actor \u2013 Television \u2013 Drama with\u00a0Sterling K. Brown for Paradise, Diego Luna for Andor, Gary Oldman for Slow Horses, Mark Ruffalo for Task, Adam Scott<\/a>\u00a0for\u00a0Severance and Noah Wyle for The Pitt all up for the gong.<\/p>\n

Owen Cooper and Erin Doherty both received acting nominations. Owen, 16, landed a nod in the Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role \u2014 TV Series, Limited series or TV Movie.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Irish actor Paul Mescal has secured a nomination in the Best Supporting Male Actor \u2013 Motion Picture category, competing against\u00a0Benicio Del Toro, One Battle After Another, Jacob Elordi, Frankenstein, Paul Mescal, Hamnet, Sean Penn, One Battle After Another, Adam Sandler, Jay Kelly and Stellan Skarsgard, Sentimental Value.<\/p>\n

Best Screenplay saw\u00a0Paul Thomas Anderson, One Battle After Another, Ronald Bronstein and Josh Safdie for Marty Supreme, Ryan Coogler, Sinners, Jafar Panahi, It Was Just an Accident and Maggie O’Farrell, Hamnet.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere in the film categories,\u00a0Joachim Trier\u2019s Norwegian family drama Sentimental Value scored eight nominations, just behind One Battle After Another.<\/p>\n

Ryan Coogler\u2019s Sinners got seven nods and Chloe Zhao\u2019s Hamnet nabbed five total nods, tying its total with that of Jon M. Chu\u2019s Wicked: For Good.<\/p>\n

Irish actress Jessie Buckley (Hamnet), who is seen as the front-runner, completes the category.<\/p>\n

Kathryn Bigelow of Netflix nuclear thriller A House of Dynamite failed to pick up a single nomination as did\u00a0Bradley Cooper\u2019s Is This Thing On?<\/p>\n

Timothee Chalamet is hoping for his first Globes win after four previous nominations and missing out on a tipped win last year for his performance in A Complete Unknown. He earned the Best Actor award at The Critics Choice Awards last week.<\/p>\n

This year he is up in the Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Motion Picture \u2013 Musical or Comedy category for Marty Supreme.<\/p>\n

One winner has already been announced as Dame Helen Mirren will be the recipient of the Cecil B DeMille\u00a0Golden Globe<\/a>\u00a0for lifetime achievement.<\/p>\n

Dame Helen will be presented with the prestigious gong, whose previous recipients\u00a0 include\u00a0Meryl Streep<\/a>, Alfred Hitchcock and last year’s winner Viola Davis<\/a>, in a ceremony on January 8, three days before the main Golden Globes take place.<\/p>\n
