Awards season is in full swing with the Golden Globe awards Sunday night, and clear leaders are pulling ahead \u2014 with the film \u201cOne Battle After Another\u201d and mini series \u201cAdolescence\u201d carrying home the heftiest loads of golden trophies. <\/p>\n

The most nominated film of the night, with nine nods, \u201cOne Battle After Another\u201d led with four wins, taking home a handful of the night\u2019s most coveted awards \u2014 including best musical or comedy and a best director win for Paul Thomas Anderson. <\/p>\n

Following behind in film was \u201cSinners,\u201d \u201cHamnet,\u201d \u201cKPop Demon Hunters\u201d and \u201cThe Secret Agent\u201d all tied with two wins each. <\/p>\n

Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet continued his winning streak for his performance as a hungry table-tennis player in \u201cMarty Supreme\u201d with his first Golden Globe win. And teenage actor Owen Cooper is also enjoying a winning streak for his performance in \u201cAdolescence,\u201d which earned him a trophy for best supporting actor in television. Both actors took home Critics Choice Awards<\/a> in their respective categories last weekend. <\/p>\n

In terms of losing streaks, \u201cOnly Murders In The Building\u201d continued theirs \u2014 taking home zero wins out of its four nominations. The series has now earned a total of 20 Golden Globe nominations, but has failed to take home a single Golden Globe. <\/p>\n

\u201cAdolescence\u201d led the night in television with four wins, including the title of best limited or anthology series. On its heels were both \u201cThe Pitt\u201d and \u201cThe Studio,\u201d which tied with two wins each. <\/p>\n

And the first ever winner for best podcast \u2014 a new award that debuted during Sunday night\u2019s ceremony \u2014 went to Amy Poehler, for her podcast, \u201cGood Hang With Amy Poehler.\u201d<\/p>\n
