Composer Guy Moon, who wrote the music for such popular Nickelodeon children\u2019s shows as \u201cThe Fairly Oddparents\u201d and \u201cDanny Phantom,\u201d has died. He was 63.<\/p>\n
The County of Los Angeles Medical Examiner reported that<\/a> Moon died on Jan. 8 due to traumatic injuries suffered in a traffic accident. <\/p>\n \u201cWe feel singularly blessed to have been able to call him dad and husband,\u201d his family wrote in a statement posted to his Facebook page.<\/a> \u201cAs we stand together at the base of what seems to be an insurmountable grief, we are emboldened to grieve him with honor and courage with the tools that he equipped us with in his beautiful life. He has left an unmistakable legacy, and will be profoundly missed by us, his family, and countless others whose lives he impacted.\u201d<\/p>\n Moon composed music for the popular cartoon show \u201cThe Fairly Oddparents\u201d through its entire run, from 2001-17. His work on that show earned him four Emmy nominations. He also wrote music for such other Nickelodeon shows as \u201cDanny Phantom,\u201d \u201cT.U.F.F. Puppy,\u201d \u201cBunsen Is a Beast,\u201d \u201cThe Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle\u201d and \u201cThe Addams Family\u201d (1992). <\/p>\n He also composed music for \u201cThe Jimmy Timmy Power Hour,\u201d \u201cCow and Chicken,\u201d \u201cThe Real Adventures of Jonny Quest,\u201d \u201cThe Green Vail,\u201d \u201cThe Brady Bunch Movie,\u201d and \u201cA Very Brady Sequel.\u201d<\/p>\n
