Blake Shelton<\/a> has warned fans not to believe everything they read (and see!) on the internet, especially when it comes to his relationship with wife Gwen Stefani<\/a>.<\/p>\n The country star was co-hosting Country Countdown USA<\/em> on Saturday (January 10) when he reacted to recent rumors he\u2019s been seeing online about him and Stefani allegedly heading for divorce. Shelton, who tied the knot with the \u201cHollaback Girl\u201d singer in 2021, said he\u2019s been noticing more and more misleading articles since October.<\/p>\n \u201cI started noticing these articles popping up about \u2018Blake and Gwen, they\u2019re split up,’\u201d Shelton said, per People<\/em><\/a>. \u201c\u2018They\u2019re not even seeing each other anymore, they\u2019re going through a divorce.\u2019 And then, a week later, a picture comes out of us walking out of the grocery store \u2026 \u2018Oh, they\u2019re back together again!’\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAnd another week goes by, and we\u2019re not seen at the grocery store\u2026 \u2018They\u2019re divorcing,’\u201d he continued, poking fun at the speculation.<\/p>\n He also addressed the growing use of deepfakes, in which people use AI to create realistic but fake images of celebrities. \u201cI see pictures of Gwen and I on social media that I really go, \u2018That looks so real.\u2019 But I know I don\u2019t even own that shirt or, \u2018Whose car is that?’\u201d the former Voice<\/em><\/a> coach stated.<\/p>\n Shelton\u2019s advice? He said, \u201cI don\u2019t believe anything anymore that I see on the internet.\u201d<\/p>\n The couple, who previously co-starred as coaches on The Voice<\/em>, went public with their relationship in 2015. They announced their engagement on October 27, 2020, and married at a chapel on Shelton\u2019s Oklahoma ranch on July 3, 2021.<\/p>\n Speaking to People<\/em> last May about their 10-year anniversary, Shelton revealed how fast time has flown by. \u201cSome of the things that we talk about, we\u2019re to the point in our relationship that it\u2019s like, \u2018Oh, remember what happened\u2026\u2019 and you realize, \u2018Oh my God, that was 8 years ago!\u2019 It\u2019s like, how did this happen so quickly?\u201d he shared.<\/p>\n Despite over a decade together, Shelton said his relationship with Stefani has never stopped feeling new. \u201cI feel like that might be the key to happiness, is that it feels just as exciting and new and happy,\u201d he concluded.<\/p>\n
