First joking how President Donald Trump<\/a>\u2019s Justice Department deserved the best editing honor for its extensive redactions to Jeffrey Epstein-related documents released to the public last month, Glaser then took a dig at CBS\u2019 credibility.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

CBS\u2019 recently-appointed head of news, Bari Weiss, has come under fire for ordering the network to hold the \u201c60 Minutes\u201d episode, which she claimed wasn\u2019t \u201cready\u201d to air<\/a> without getting Trump administration officials\u2019 perspective on the record.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The \u201c60 Minutes\u201d journalist who reported the piece, Sharyn Alfonsi, shot back, accusing Weiss of tabling the story for political reasons, noting how White House officials declined requests to respond to allegations in the piece.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
