With the release of his new single \u201cHelicopter$,\u201d A$AP Rocky<\/a> is inching ever closer to the release of his highly-anticipated fourth studio album, Don\u2019t Be Dumb<\/em><\/a>, <\/em>out this Friday, January 16th via A$AP Worldwide\/RCA Records. Stream \u201cHelicopter$\u201d below.<\/p>\n Written by Rocky and Kelvin Krash, the track was also produced by the duo with additional work by Soufien 3000. Sonically, \u201cHelicopter$\u201d fits more neatly into the A$AP Rocky aural aesthetic than his previous offering, the psychedelic lead single \u201cPunk Rocky.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n The new song sees Rocky talking his shit, per usual, and leaning heavily into nostalgia. \u201cTake my white tee off, spin it like a helicopter\/ Fuck with young Pretty Flacko, I Petey pop you,\u201d he raps, referencing North Carolina rapper Petey Pablo\u2019s 2001 regional pride anthem, \u201cRaise Up.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n Related Video<\/p>\n A$AP Rocky\u2019s latest drop also comes with a music video that\u2019s just as chaotic as it is alluring. Directed by Rocky and Dan Streit, the visuals are 3D-rendered, making just about anything possible.
