{"id":2232176,"date":"2026-01-12T21:23:36","date_gmt":"2026-01-12T21:23:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/celebrity.land\/en\/?p=2232176"},"modified":"2026-01-12T21:23:36","modified_gmt":"2026-01-12T21:23:36","slug":"people-we-meet-on-vacation-soundtrack-all-the-songs-in-the-new-netflix-film","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/celebrity.land\/en\/people-we-meet-on-vacation-soundtrack-all-the-songs-in-the-new-netflix-film\/","title":{"rendered":"People We Meet On Vacation soundtrack | All the songs in the new Netflix film"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div data-placement=\"Body\">\n<p>Netflix&#8217;s latest romance film People We Meet on Vacation has already shot to the top of the streamer&#8217;s top 10 list \u2013 with fans watching the adaptation of Emily Henry&#8217;s novel in their droves since its addition to the library last Friday (9th January).<\/p>\n<p>The film stars Tom Blyth and Emily Bader as Alex and Poppy \u2013 two best friends with different outlooks on life who spend one week of their summer holidays together every year, despite living far apart.<\/p>\n<p>Over the course of the film, they come to realise that they are the perfect match, with their courtship soundtracked by a number of popular songs, new and old.<\/p>\n<p>One major song that appears is Taylor Swift&#8217;s August, from her 2020 album Folklore, with writer Henry (who also serves as an executive producer on the film), explaining in an interview with <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.netflix.com\/tudum\/articles\/people-we-meet-on-vacation-soundtrack-taylor-swift\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tudum<\/a> that &#8220;there was a lot of debate early on as to which Taylor Swift song we should pursue&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>She added: &#8220;I remember [director] Brett [Haley] telling me it needed to be August, and it hadn\u2019t actually occurred to me how perfect that was.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Intrigued to hear which other songs appear?
