Mickey Rourke<\/a> and the late Peter Greene<\/a> are among the notable stars of a forthcoming indie feature offering an updated take on a classic Edgar Allan Poe<\/a> work.<\/p>\n

Director Craig Cukrowski<\/a>\u2019s psychological drama 3 Days Rising<\/a> reimagines the short story The Fall of the House of Usher<\/a> and boasts a cast that includes Rourke, Greene<\/a>, Ice-t<\/a>, Vincent Young<\/a> and Kelly Monrow<\/a>. The Hollywood Reporter can exclusively debut the movie\u2019s trailer, seen below, before its planned debut on the festival circuit later this year.<\/p>\n

3 Days Rising<\/a> marks the final lead feature role for Greene, who died last month at 60 and was known for parts in Pulp Fiction<\/a>, The Mask and Training Day<\/a>. Cukrowski, who helmed the film from brother Derek Cukrowski<\/a>\u2019s script, had been friends with Greene for more than 20 years and notes that the actor\u2019s real-life personality was much different from the hardened characters he portrayed.<\/p>\n
