They figured out how to exploit the glitch by trying to place massive orders \u2013 think 500,000 jars of marmalade \u2013 so that the As Ever website would come back with a message that the order was too large, then reveal exactly how many jars of marmalade could be ordered.<\/span><\/p>\n The bug has been fixed, but not before those sleuths tracked stock levels for all the 15\u2013odd items on the As Ever site.<\/p>\n Among the items are:<\/p>\n The numbers are accurate, <\/span>Newsweek confirmed<\/a>, meaning Meghan\u2019s site has around US$20 million in stock, on a retail cost basis. With that detailed inventory information spreading online, Meghan\u2019s side revealed that the roughly 225,000 jars of fruit spread on hand is all that remains of an order of one million jars, <\/span>according to the Times<\/a>. That means she sold 80 percent of her order to buyers in the continental United States in the last few months. That\u2019s quite an achievement for such a new site.<\/span><\/p>\n The future of the As Ever brand, which is sold in association with Netflix, will need to expand sales, likely through a combination of having existing customers order more of the expensive products, getting As Ever products sold by third party vendors, including bricks-and-mortar stores, and expanding As Ever\u2019s markets (right now, it only ships to customers in the continental United States).<\/p>\n The civil trial between Prince Harry and six other claimants, including Elton John and his husband David Furnish, and the publisher of the Daily Mail starts this week in London.
