The White House has reacted to Mark Ruffalo’s comments about JD Vance and Donald Trump.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Last night, while on the red carpet at the Golden Globes,<\/a> Ruffalo was interviewed by USA Today and was quizzed about the ‘BE GOOD’ pin he was wearing to accompany his tuxedo.<\/p>\n

“This is for Renee Nicole Good, who was murdered,” the actor said. <\/p>\n

Good was the 37-year-old woman who was fatally shot by ICE officer Jonathan Ross<\/a> in Minneapolis, Minnesota<\/a>, on January 7.<\/p>\n

Ross was part of the raids going on in Good’s neighborhood and video footage shows<\/a> her behind the wheel of her car. An officer tries to open the car door, but Good attempted to speed off, prompting Ross to fire at her.<\/p>\n

In the wake of Good’s death and its circumstances, Ruffalo<\/a> wore the ‘BE GOOD’ pin alongside several other celebrities<\/a> at the awards night.<\/p>\n

The Department of Homeland Security has defended the ICE officer’s actions, claiming that Good tried to run over the officer and his use of force was justified. <\/p>\n

While explaining the significance of his pin, Ruffalo also had some strong words, accusing Vice President JD Vance<\/a> of ‘lying about what’s happening’.<\/p>\n

Turning his attention to Trump<\/a>, the actor continued to rant: “We’re in the middle of a war with Venezuela that we illegally invaded. [Trump’s<\/a>] telling the world that international law doesn’t matter to him.<\/p>\n

“The only thing that matters to him is his own morality, but the guy is a convicted felon; a convicted rapist.”<\/p>\n

“He’s a pedophile,” Ruffalo continued<\/a>. “He’s the worst human being. If we’re relying on this guy’s morality for the most powerful country in the world, then we’re all in a lot of trouble.”<\/p>\n

For context, Trump was convicted on 34 felony counts for falsifying business records in May 2024 (via<\/a> The Independent). That same year, he was also found liable for sexually abusing E. Jean Carroll in 1996 by a jury; however, he wasn’t convicted due to it being a civil suit.<\/p>\n

Trump has also never been charged with a sex crime, including pedophilia.<\/p>\n

Steven Cheung, Assistant to the President and White House Director of Communications, has responded to Ruffalo’s comments.<\/p>\n

He penned on Twitter<\/a> alongside a Page Six article about Ruffalo and other stars making anti-ICE remarks: “Poor thing Mark Ruffalo, star of She-Hulk, is one of the worst actors in the business. <\/p>\n

“More impressively, he’s an even worse human being by spewing outright lies because deep down inside, he hates himself for knowingly subjecting the public to his god awful performance.”<\/p>\n

Ouch.<\/p>\n
