Mitski<\/a> has started teasing new music by wiping her Instagram page clean, and sharing a cryptic link inviting fans to call a new phone line.<\/p>\n Fans first noticed that new Mitski news could be on the way over the weekend, when the singer deleted all of her posts from Instagram.<\/p>\n Soon after, a post was made on all her social media pages, showing the \u2018Liquid Smooth\u2019 singer humming a new song while walking around the kitchen. There was also a new website was added to her bios, encouraging fans to visit a new page called wheresmyphone.net<\/a>.<\/p>\n On the site, one half of the homepage read \u201cMITSKI Where\u2019s My Phone?\u2019 and comes with a new phone number. The other half has a video of an iPhone, and seems to show text messages and missed calls from fans flashing up on the lockscreen in real time.<\/p>\n Those who try to call the phone number hear a voicemail from the singer that says: \u201cHi. It\u2019s Mitski, you\u2019ve reached the Tansy House. No one can come to the phone right now, but please leave a message at the beep.\u201d<\/p>\n While it hasn\u2019t yet been confirmed if the post is leading to an album announcement, some eagle-eyed fans have noticed that the battery life on the iPhone lockscreen is gradually declining by one or two per cent each hour.<\/p>\n With that in mind, the battery will likely run out at some point on Friday (January 16) \u2013 meaning that the site may be a countdown to an announcement at the end of the week.<\/p>\n Fans who get in touch with the new number have also been sent a link<\/a> to sign-up for updates. These include a collaboration with Tamino on a track called \u2018Sanctuary\u2019<\/a>, and a guest feature on the title track for Florence + The Machine<\/a>\u2019s latest album, \u2018Everybody Scream\u2019<\/a>.<\/p>\n Mitski\u2019s latest release was a cover of Pete Townshend\u2019s \u2018Let My Love Open the Door\u2019<\/a>.
