Caribou’s Dan Snaith has shared two more tracks from his upcoming album\u00a0under his Daphni moniker.<\/p>\n

Good Night Baby and Talk To Me offer a further glimpse into ‘Butterfly’, due out February 6 via his Jiaolong label. The former is a high-energy, dancefloor-ready offering, while the latter is\u00a0calmer and more restrained. Snaith said:<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n
“Good Night Baby is a good illustration of how far a finished track can end up from its origin \/ of how rudderless I am when making music most of the time. This one started out more like the mostly drums only track that you hear towards the end\u2026 but somewhere along the way turned into a big mushy loved up track with all the feels.<\/p>\n
\n
<\/p>\n
“Talk To Me is the polar opposite \u2014 it’s rare that I manage to keep my tracks as sparse and spare as this one \u2014 just wubs, drums, voices and occasionally a little synth melody. Sometimes \u2014 especially on a big soundsystem \u2014 that\u2019s all you need.”<\/p>\n

The Canadian producer previously teased the 16-track record, his first solo Daphni release since 2022’s ‘Cherry’, with the earlier singles Waiting So Long, Lucky, Josephine, Eleven, Clap Your Hands, and Sad Piano House.<\/p>\n

Snaith released his most recent album under his Caribou<\/a>\u00a0alias, ‘Honey’, in 2024. He’ll play Beyond The Pale<\/a> in Wicklow, Ireland in June, followed by a show in Glasgow in July as part of a run of European dates. Tickets are on sale now.<\/p>\n
