Sky has commissioned a series adaptation of the smash hit Stieg Larsson<\/a> novel \u201cThe Girl with the Dragon Tattoo<\/a>,\u201d Variety has learned.<\/p>\n

Steve Lightfoot<\/a> and Angela Lamanna<\/a> will write and executive produce the eight-episode Sky Original with Left Bank Pictures<\/a> producing. Andy Harries<\/a>, Charlotte Moore<\/a> and John Phillips of Left Bank Pictures will also executive produce along with Sam Hoyle<\/a> for Sky, Amy Pascal<\/a>, and Scott Rudin<\/a>.<\/p>\n
