Radiohead played 20 shows in five European cities and promptly re-disappeared completely, with stateside fans left to drool over clips of the band unearthing \u201cSit Down, Stand Up.\u201d Now, as we discuss on the latest <em>Rolling Stone Music Now<\/em> podcast, the big question is whether Radiohead will resurface for U.S. dates this year. (A spokesperson for the band had no new information on the subject.)<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/player.megaphone.fm\/IMP7381352143\" frameborder=\"no\" height=\"200\" scrolling=\"no\" width=\"100%\"><br \/>\n<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tRadiohead\u2019s European run \u2014 hitting Madrid, Bologna, London, Copenhagen, and Berlin \u2014 was a triumph, aside from some scattered grumbling about the in-the-round stage setup and descending screens that sometimes obscured the band early on. When the tour was announced in September, drummer Philip Selway presented the dates as a test run: \u201cFor now, it will just be these ones, but who knows where this will all lead.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tBut will it lead to, well, the United States? As we discuss in the episode, the fact that bassist Colin Greenwood is booked for summer touring with Nick Cave initially seems not to bode well. The one <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/radiohead-european-tour-take-break-new-interview-1235454458\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">interview<\/a> the band gave to promote the tour aired interpersonal and even political disagreements. \u201cSomebody said that article was the equivalent of a group therapy session,\u201d <em>Rolling Stone<\/em>\u2018s Andy Greene notes in the episode.
