Rostrum Pacific, the parent company of indie label Rostrum Records, has secured direct licensing agreements with Spotify<\/a> and TikTok.<\/p>\n The company has also officially launched its distribution platform, SpaceHeater<\/strong>, and appointed\u00a0Samantha<\/strong>\u00a0Moore<\/strong>\u00a0as President<\/strong> of<\/strong>\u00a0SpaceHeater<\/strong> to oversee the business.<\/span><\/p>\n Beyond Spotify and TikTok, SpaceHeater also operates through direct relationships with Amazon<\/a> and Tidal, along with other major DSPs, Rostrum Pacific said.<\/p>\n The deals and new appointment arrive a month after the company secured a $150 million financing<\/a> to grow its music catalog.<\/p>\n The agreements were negotiated by Mike Pelczynski<\/strong>, Rostrum<\/span> Pacific<\/span>\u2018s EVP of Digital Strategy, who noted on Tuesday (January 13) that \u201cDirect relationships like this move beyond economics toward clarity, accountability, and alignment with where platforms are heading.\u201d<\/p>\n He added: \u201cThese agreements position us as a valued partner at the rightsholder level, while SpaceHeater ensures our artists and label clients benefit from modern infrastructure built for today\u2019s realities.\u201d<\/p>\n As Rostrum Pacific shifts to a fully independent operating model offering physical and digital distribution, SpaceHeater will now distribute the full Rostrum Records<\/b> catalog, as well as those owned and managed by Rostrum Pacific including Cantora<\/b> and Fat<\/b> Beats<\/b>.<\/p>\n Rostrum\u2019s catalog was previously distributed by ADA.<\/p>\n \n \u201cThese agreements position us as a valued partner at the rightsholder level, while SpaceHeater ensures our artists and label clients benefit from modern infrastructure built for today\u2019s realities.\u201d<\/p>\n\n
