Matt Damon pokes fun at Ben Affleck like brothers on \u2018The Rip\u2019 set<\/p>\n

Matt Damon and Ben Affleck have built a real brotherhood between them on the set of The Rip.<\/i><\/p>\n

Recently, at the New York City premiere of their upcoming crime thriller, The Rip<\/i>, director Joe Carnahan revealed some behind-the-scenes details while speaking to PEOPLE<\/i>.<\/p>\n

Carnahan shared that the pair, who have been close friends for four decades, built a \u201cbrotherly\u201d bond during the production of the movie.<\/p>\n

Affleck and Damon, who play a pair of cops in The Rip<\/i>, made the filming experience fun and \u201chysterical,\u201d as Carnahan described it.<\/p>\n

“Oh, they razz each other endlessly,” Carnahan explained. “It’s the way brothers go at each other.\u201d<\/p>\n

The director further described that the way the two actors act with each other is similar to how he talks with his own brother.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe just endlessly clown the other person, and that is them. It’s very brotherly, their relationship,\u201d Carnahan reflected.<\/p>\n

Although Affleck and Damon have quite a serious crime role on screen, behind the camera, the duo is all about poking fun and joking around with each other.<\/p>\n

The Rip <\/i>starts streaming on January 16 on Netflix.<\/p>\n
