Country music has happy songs, sad songs, love songs, and even odd songs. We found three of the weirdest country music songs, all released in the last 25 years.<\/p>\n

\u201cHillbilly Bone\u201d by Blake Shelton and Trace Adkins<\/h3>\n
\n

Blake Shelton teams up with his good friend, Trace Adkins, for \u201cHillbilly Bone<\/a>\u201c. The title track of Shelton\u2019s 2010 EP, this humorous song was written by Craig Wiseman and Luke Laird.<\/p>\n

\u201cHillbilly Bone\u201d is about celebrating your inner hillbilly. The song says, \u201cWe all got a hillbilly bone down deep inside \/ No matter where you\u2019re from, you just can\u2019t hide it \/ And when the band starts banging and the fiddle saws \/ You can\u2019t help but a hollering yee haw \/ When you see them pretty little country queens \/ Man you got to admit that\u2019s in them genes \/ Aren\u2019t nothing wrong, just gettin\u2019 on your
Hillbilly bone<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHillbilly Bone\u201d wasn\u2019t written as a duet. But as soon as Shelton heard it, he thought of Adkins.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt sounds like a Trace Adkins song,\u201d Shelton says (via Songf<\/a><\/em>acts<\/em><\/a>). \u201cWhen I heard it, I thought, why didn\u2019t Trace get his hands on it first?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI Wanna Talk About Me\u201d by Toby Keith<\/h3>\n

Toby Keith created a lengthy and successful career for himself by releasing songs that went against the norms in country music, including \u201cI Wanna Talk About Me\u201d. Written by Bobby Braddock, the song is on Keith\u2019s Pull My Chain<\/em> album.<\/p>\n

Although the song seems like a classic Keith song, it was actually written for Shelton<\/a> first. <\/p>\n

\u201cWe recorded it,\u201d Shelton recalls on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon<\/em><\/a>. \u201cAnd the label at the time said, \u2018We don\u2019t want any part of that song.\u2019<\/p>\n

When Shelton passed on it, Keith recorded it, making it one of his biggest hits.<\/p>\n

Alan Jackson includes his 2009 single \u201cI Still Like Bologna\u201d on his Good Time<\/em> album. Written by Jackson, the song is about embracing the simple way of life, even as times keep changing.<\/p>\n

\u201cI Still Like Bologna\u201d says, \u201cThere\u2019s satellite communications \/ Long distance internet relations \/ The world\u2019s a little faster every day \/ Now I know it\u2019s all well and good \/ And I don\u2019t embrace it like I should \/ But I wouldn\u2019t wanna go backwards even if I could \/ But I still like bologna on white bread, now and then \/ And the sound of a whippoorwill down a country road \/ The grass between my toes and that sunset sinking low \/ And a good woman\u2019s love to hold me close<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n
