NeNe Leakes is returning to Bravo, six years after stepping away from \u201cThe Real Housewives of Atlanta,\u201d but not in the way many fans might expect, Us Weekly<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n The 58-year-old reality television star will appear in \u201cThe Real Housewives: Ultimate Road Trip,\u201d a new spinoff series announced by Andy Cohen at 2025 BravoCon. According to TMZ<\/a>, Leakes will not be joining as a full-time cast member but is expected to have a \u201cnotable presence\u201d during the show\u2019s Georgia segment.<\/p>\n The spinoff builds on the format of \u201cThe Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip,\u201d which launched in 2021, Us Weekly noted. The new series will feature Housewives from various franchises traveling to different cities across the country, where they will connect with past and present cast members from those locations.<\/p>\n \u201cWe will have iconic Housewives taking the road trip of a lifetime to the Housewives\u2019 cities where they will be joined by iconic Housewives past and present from the span of two decades,\u201d Cohen said during an event<\/a> in November.<\/p>\n Frances Berwick, chairman of Bravo and Peacock Unscripted, described the series as a celebration marking the franchise\u2019s 20-year milestone.<\/p>\n \u201cFor two decades, The Real Housewives has amplified women\u2019s voices, spotlighted their ambition, humor, and strength, inspiring millions with their unapologetic authenticity,\u201d Berwick said in a statement.<\/p>\n Leakes last appeared on season 12 of \u201cThe Real Housewives of Atlanta\u201d in 2020. An original cast member when the show premiered in 2008, she had publicly addressed the possibility of returning multiple times in 2025.<\/p>\n
