Kate Hudson<\/a> and Goldie Hawn<\/a> had a mother-daughter night out at the movies on Tuesday night, as the pair sat down for a conversation around Hudson\u2019s buzzy performance in Song Sung Blue<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Hawn kicked off the 30-minute chat by telling the crowd at The Grove<\/a> how she and longtime partner Kurt Russell<\/a> \u201cheld onto each other and cried\u201d when they first saw the movie. She later revealed that Russell \u201cwent to the bathroom and came back because he was a little weepy himself and he said, \u2018She might be the greatest actress of all time,’\u201d of Hudson\u2019s performance, while also joking that \u201cKurt and I just got along better, for the first time in our life\u201d after watching the movie.<\/p>\n
