Gorillaz<\/a> have released two new songs, \u201cThe Hardest Thing\u201d and \u201cOrange County,\u201d from their upcoming album The Mountain<\/em><\/a>. Stream both tracks below.<\/p>\n \u201cThe Hardest Thing\u201d features late drummer and composer Tony Allen. On the sparse track about grief and hope, a floating voice punctuates the floating production as if it\u2019s an introduction to another song.<\/p>\n Pre-order The Mountain on Vinyl\/CD<\/a><\/p>\n That song is \u201cOrange County,\u201d a companion track to \u201cThe Hardest Thing\u201d with a vibrant feel in its earnest melody. It combines Gorillaz\u2019s signature energy with a relaxing vibe, thanks to the contributions of Bizarrap, Kara Jackson, and Anoushka Shanksar.<\/p>\n Related Video<\/p>\n In September, Gorillaz released The Mountain<\/em>\u2019s lead single, \u201cThe Happy Dictator.\u201d<\/a> They\u2019ve since dropped \u201cThe Manifesto,\u201d<\/a> the IDLES-assisted \u201cThe God of Lying,\u201d<\/a> and \u201cDamascus,\u201d<\/a> featuring Yasiin Bey and Omar Souleyman.<\/p>\n The album is set for release on February 27th, coinciding with a limited four-week run of\u00a0their\u00a0House of Kong exhibition<\/a> in Los Angeles.
