MS NOW<\/a> host Nicolle Wallace<\/a> tore into podcaster Joe Rogan<\/a> on Wednesday for saying on his show that he can see \u201cboth perspectives\u201d surrounding President Donald Trump<\/a>\u2019s hard-line immigration agenda.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The \u201cDeadline: White House\u201d host invited MS NOW senior contributing editor Michele Norris<\/a> and Media Matters<\/a> president Angelo Carusone on her show to discuss this.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Norris predicted that Trump is going to lose some Republican support as a partial result of \u201cthe horrors\u201d in Minnesota<\/a> involving U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement<\/a> officers, one of whom recently shot and killed 37-year-old Minneapolis resident Renee Nicole Good<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The federal presence in Minnesota runs \u201ccounter to a bedrock conservative value\u201d of states\u2019 rights, Norris said, at least for those conservatives who appear to have changed their stance<\/a> about the Trump administration.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cJoe Rogan is the one who compares that conduct to the Gestapo, asking for people\u2019s papers,\u201d said Wallace<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n But she clarified: \u201cI\u2019m not ready to call him someone who is sort of marching in lockstep with the protesters, because it is the most \u2018both sides\u2019 BS that I\u2019ve heard come out of his mouth.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
