Ashley St. Clair<\/strong>, the mother of Elon Musk<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s son Romulus, is suing his xAI company, alleging its Grok AI generative tool created explicit sexual images of her<\/a> without her consent.<\/p>\n

St. Clair, 27, filed the lawsuit in the state of New York on Thursday, January 15, reported celebrity.land<\/a><\/em>, NBC News<\/em><\/a> and People<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

In the filing, the right-wing political commentator alleged that \u201cxAI\u2019s product Grok, a generative artificial intelligence (\u2018AI\u2019) chatbot, uses AI to undress, humiliate, and sexually exploit victims.\u201d<\/p>\n

St. Clair claimed that X users were able to use Grok to generate \u201ccountless sexually abusive, intimate, and degrading deepfake content\u201d of her, despite informing Grok that she \u201cdid not consent to being undressed,\u201d per the legal filing obtained by NBC News.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tJustin Baldoni\u2019s lawyer is speaking out again after Blake Lively filed a lawsuit accusing the It Ends With Us director and star of sexual harassment \u2014 and of launching a \u201csocial manipulation\u201d campaign against her to \u201cdestroy\u201d her reputation. \u201cTAG PR operated as any other crisis management firm would when hired by a client experiencing [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The lawsuit alleged, \u201cAmong other things, X users dug up photos of St. Clair fully clothed at 14 years old and requested Grok undress her and put her in a bikini. Grok obliged.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cGrok also produced deepfake, sexualized content of St. Clair as an adult, including deepfake content of her covered in semen [and] her rubbing her breasts,\u201d the lawsuit continued, adding that images were also altered to add tattoos to St. Clair\u2019s likeness such as \u201cElon\u2019s w****\u201d and make her look \u201cmorbidly obese.\u201d<\/p>\n

St. Clair\u2019s legal team argued that \u201cxAI is directly liable for the harassment and explicit images created by its own chatbot, Grok,\u201d and are demanding a trial by jury.<\/p>\n

\u201cxAI is not a reasonably safe product and is a public nuisance,\u201d St. Clair\u2019s attorney, Carrie Goldberg<\/strong>, said in a statement to People<\/em> on Thursday. \u201cNobody has born the brunt more than Ashley St. Clair. Ashley filed suit because Grok was harassing her by creating and distributing nonconsensual, abusive, and degrading images of her and publishing them on X.\u201d<\/p>\n

Goldberg added, \u201cThis harm flowed directly from deliberate design choices that enabled Grok to be used as a tool of harassment and humiliation. Companies should not be able to escape responsibility when the products they build predictably cause this kind of harm. We intend to hold Grok accountable and to help establish clear legal boundaries for the entire public\u2019s benefit to prevent AI from being weaponized for abuse.\u201d<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, January 14, X said<\/a> it had \u201cimplemented technological measures to prevent the [@]Grok account on X globally from allowing the editing of images of real people in revealing clothing such as bikinis,\u201d after the platform was inundated with user requests to alter photos of real people.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe remain committed to making X a safe platform for everyone and continue to have zero tolerance for any forms of child sexual exploitation, non-consensual nudity, and unwanted sexual content,\u201d X added.<\/p>\n

In a January 9 interview with Inside Edition<\/em>, St. Clair said she felt \u201cdisgusted and violated\u201d by the images that were allegedly generated by Grok.<\/p>\n
