\n\tBefore his death in 2009, Dan Seals<\/a> had a storied career as both a pop and country artist, with such \u201870s hits as \u201cI\u2019d Really Love to See You Tonight\u201d and \u201cNights Are Forever Without You\u201d as half of England Dan & John Ford Coley on the pop charts and then a string of country No. 1s as a solo artist in the \u201880s, including \u201cBop,\u201d \u201cAddicted\u201d and \u201cEverything That Glitters (Is Not Gold).\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tHis legacy will be celebrated with Dan Seals & Friends: The Last Duet<\/em>, an Aug. 28 release from Melody Place Records and the Dan Seals Estate that features many of his biggest hits re-created as new duets with artists including Blake Shelton<\/a>, Luke Bryan<\/a>, Jamey Johnson, Alabama, Marie Osmond and Tanya Tucker.<\/a><\/p>\n \n\tWhile four of the songs have already come out \u2014 \u201cEverything That Glitters (Is Not Gold)\u201d with Bryan, \u201cThree Time Loser\u201d with Johnson, \u201cMy Baby\u2019s Got Good Timing\u201d with Jasmine Amy Rogers and \u201cNights Are Forever Without You\u201d with Sara Evans \u2014 Billboard<\/em> is exclusively revealing the full track list below. Upon the release of his duet with Seals, Bryan said, \u201cWhen I think of all time iconic songs, this one definitely comes top of mind. Dan was an artist I had on repeat and actually still do. I sang this song when I was back in Georgia and now to be here and paired with him on this new release is just unbelievable.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tNoted producer and Seals collaborator Kyle Lehning put together the project, using digital technology to extract Seals\u2019 vocals and recordings and then adding on the duet partner to create something familiar, yet new. \u00a0<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cDan was always true: as a singer, as an artist and as a man,\u201d Lehning said in a statement. \u201cSeeing the way all of these artists responded when they had Dan\u2019s voice in their ears shows how that warm truth in his voice still touches people in the best way. The song \u2018Still Reelin\u2019\u2019 was Dan reflecting on the effect that Elvis and the early rock n\u2019 rollers had on him as a child, it\u2019s nice to see that people are \u2018still reelin\u2019\u2019 from his music today.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tThe album also includes what is being billed a 50th-anniversary edition of \u201cI\u2019d Really Love to See You Tonight,\u201d which came out in March 1976 and peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100<\/a>. The version takes Seals\u2019 recording of the song from his 1995 album In a Quiet Room<\/em>\u00a0record with new vocals recorded by Coley.<\/p>\n
