The 57-year-old actor was spotted in Los Angeles on Monday, Jan. 12 and looked completely unrecognizable.<\/p>\n In photos obtained by PEOPLE, Vartan, who was seen with a scruffy beard and long hair, was dressed in a sweatshirt and sweatpants as he left a grocery store. He had an L.A. Kings hat on over his long hair.<\/p>\n Vartan is best known for costarring alongside Jennifer Garner<\/a> in Alias<\/em>. The two played spies and love interests in the ABC thriller, which ran from 2001 to 2006, with Garner, 53, playing Sydney Bristow and Vartan as Michael Vaughn.<\/p>\n
