Here\u2019s a look at what made these once-friends turn into foes.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The GRAMMY-winning rapper dropped <em>DON\u2019T BE DUMB<\/em> on Friday.<\/p>\n<section class=\"nt-read-more\">\n<p class=\"nt-read-more__title no-margin-top\">Read More<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<p>The 15-song album features collaborations with Brent Faiyaz, Doechii, will.i.am., and more, and includes two bonus tracks \u2013 one with Tyler, the Creator.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Given that it\u2019s his first full-length project since 2018, it\u2019s receiving a lot of hype. But it\u2019s track four \u2013 \u201cSTOLE YA FLOW\u201d \u2013 in particular, that has people talking.\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DTgWeJ6kgmf\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"14\" style=\" background:#FFF; border:0; border-radius:3px; box-shadow:0 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.5),0 1px 10px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.15); margin: 1px; max-width:540px; min-width:326px; padding:0; width:99.375%; width:-webkit-calc(100% - 2px); width:calc(100% - 2px);\"\/>\n<p>Rocky raps, \u201cFirst you stole my flow, so I stole yo\u2019 b*tch,\u201d seemingly referencing his long-standing accusations that Drake copied his music style and Rocky\u2019s relationship with Drake\u2019s ex-girlfriend Rihanna.<\/p>\n<p>He continues, rapping, \u201cN****s getting BBLs, lucky we don\u2019t body shame\/Throwing dirt on Rocky name, turn around and copy game.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The reference to BBLs can be traced back to Drake and Kendrick Lamar\u2019s 2024 feud, which featured producer Metro Boomin\u2019s viral \u201cBBL Drizzy\u201d beat and Lamar\u2019s shots at Drake\u2019s alleged cosmetic surgery in his Drake diss track, \u201cEuphoria.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On Thursday, Jon Caramanica and Joe Coscarelli of a popular podcast, <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/K5zgJ_oWgAE?si=CWeaX0gNgfoNR5Bh&amp;t=2174\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Popcast<\/a>, suggested that Drake was the intended target of Rocky\u2019s hits.<\/p>\n<p>While Rocky didn\u2019t confirm this directly in the episode, he did explain where the tension arose between the pair that were once close friends.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI started seeing people who started out as friends, just became foes and seemed like they was unhappy for you and started sending shots,\u201d Rocky said in the interview. \u201cI think that\u2019s what led to any of our misunderstandings. It really ain\u2019t smoke.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>When asked if the beef was resolvable, he responded, \u201cFor what?\u201d<\/p>\n<section class=\"nt-read-more\">\n<p class=\"nt-read-more__title no-margin-top\">Read More<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<p>Drake and Rocky have had back-and-forth bars in music in the past two years.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In April 2024, Rocky was featured on Metro Boomin and Future\u2019s joint double-disc album <em>We Still Don\u2019t Trust You<\/em>.
