\n\tA$AP Rocky<\/a> held nothing back on \u201cStole Ya Flow,\u201d a song on his new album Don\u2019t Be Dumb<\/em> that references Rihanna<\/a> and sounds a lot like a Drake<\/a> diss track \u2014 something the New York native actually addressed on a recent podcast.<\/p>\n \n\tIn the New York Times<\/em> Popcast <\/em>posted Thursday (Jan. 14) \u2014 one day prior to the release of Rocky\u2019s new LP \u2014 he acknowledged that he was already prepared for the internet to assume that Drizzy was the target of the antagonistic bars on \u201cStole Ya Flow.\u201d Because, after all: \u201cI think we all know,\u201d he said of the track\u2019s subject.<\/p>\n \n\tWhen pressed for what happened between himself and Drake, Rocky said, \u201cI started just seeing people who started out as friends and just became foes, seemed like they was unhappy for you and started sending shots.\u201d <\/p>\n \n\t\u201cI think that\u2019s what led to any of our misunderstandings \u2026 it really ain\u2019t smoke,\u201d he continued of the Toronto artist, saying he doesn\u2019t see a resolution happening between them. \u201cIt don\u2019t even need to be. For what?\u201d<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cIt\u2019s for whoever feel like it\u2019s about them,\u201d Rocky added after hosts Joe Coscarelli and Jon Caramanica once again asked if \u201cStole Ya Flow\u201d was about Drake.<\/p>\n \n\tThat night, Don\u2019t Be Dumb<\/em> hit streaming services, revealing just what Rocky needed to get off his chest on \u201cStole Ya Flow.\u201d In the lyrics, he taunts, \u201cFirst you stole my flow, so I stole yo b\u2014h \u2026 My baby mama Rihanna, so we unbothered.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tRiRi and Drizzy sparked dating rumors<\/a> multiple times in the late 2000s, early 2010s \u2014 but the latter has been open about having more serious feelings for the Fenty mogul that he says she didn\u2019t reciprocate. In 2018, Rihanna told Vogue <\/em>that she and Drake didn\u2019t \u201chave a friendship\u201d any longer, five years after which Drake appeared to shade her and Rocky \u2014 who coupled up in 2020 \u2014 on album For All the Dogs<\/em>.<\/p>\n \n\tElsewhere on \u201cStole Ya Flow,\u201d Rocky seemingly drops other hints that the song is about Drake by spitting, \u201cHe just a sensitive n\u2014a, still in his feelings\u201d as well as \u201cN\u2014as gettin\u2019 BBLs, lucky we don\u2019t body shame.\u201d \u201cIn My Feelings\u201d is the title of Drake\u2019s 2018 10-week Billboard Hot 100<\/a> chart-topper, and the BBL dig may refer to Metro Boomin\u2019s diss track \u201cBBL Drizzy.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n \n\tBillboard <\/em>has reached out to reps for Rocky and Drake for comment.<\/p>\n \n\tRocky and Drake used to be friends as well as collaborators, with \u201cF\u2013kin\u2019 Problems\u201d featuring Drizzy, Kendrick Lamar and 2 Chainz earning Rocky his first top 10 hit on the Hot 100 in 2013.
