Former Nickelodeon star Kianna Underwood<\/strong> is dead following a hit and run. She was 33.<\/p>\n

Multiple outlets reported that Underwood was identified as the victim of a hit and run accident in Brooklyn in the neighborhood of Brownsville on Friday, January 16. The NYPD confirmed that a female victim was pronounced dead at the scene, per Variety<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Kianna\u2019s father, Anthony Underwood<\/strong>, later confirmed the news by sharing an article about his daughter\u2019s death on Facebook.<\/p>\n

\u201cPlease give me and my family time to process this,\u201d he captioned the status update. \u201cThank you.\u201d He also linked to a NY Post<\/em><\/a> story about the accident.<\/p>\n

Nickelodeon\u2019s half-hour sketch comedy show originally ran from 1994 to 2000, spawning spinoffs like Kenan & Kel and The Amanda Show and becoming the signature [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Several of Anthony\u2019s Facebook friends sent their sympathies to his family.<\/p>\n

\u201cSending lots of love and prayers,\u201d one user replied in the comments section, while another responded, \u201cI am so sorry and thinking of you and your family.\u201d<\/p>\n

The All That<\/em> alum was struck by a sedan while she was crossing the street on Friday morning at 7 a.m. local time, according to TMZ<\/a>. No arrests have been made at this time.<\/p>\n

Kianna was best known for starring on All That<\/em>. She appeared in seven episodes on the Nickelodeon sketch comedy from 2004 to 2005. Her costars included Kenan Thompson<\/strong>, Amanda Bynes<\/strong>, Nick Cannon<\/strong> and more.<\/p>\n

In addition to All That<\/span>, Kianna lent her voice to the animated children\u2019s series Little Bill<\/em>. She was featured in 23 episodes on the show that ran from 1999 to 2004.<\/p>\n

Kianna also appeared in the film The 24-Hour Woman<\/em> as Taneesha Labelle. The 1999 comedy starred Rosie Perez<\/strong>, Marianne Jean-Baptiste<\/strong> and Patti LuPone<\/strong>. The 24-Hour Woman<\/em> premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, and the indie project had a limited run in theaters.<\/p>\n

She also voiced the character Dakota in the animated TV holiday movie Santa, Baby!<\/em><\/p>\n

In addition to her multiple TV and film roles, Kianna dabbled in theater. She was part of the touring company for the musical Hairspray<\/em>, where the actress played the part of Little Inez.<\/p>\n

Kianna\u2019s time on All That<\/em> was her final project in Hollywood. She remained out of the spotlight after departing the Nickelodeon series in 2005.<\/p>\n
